Note: We have very few glasses so we recommend that you bring your own.

Table & Chairs

We can provide 10 rectangular tables, 60” x 30” which each seat 4 comfortably (2 on each side), and 64 chairs.

Please note that renters do NOT have access to the loft area.

CAPACITY

The legal capacity of the hall is:

  • 72 persons for an event using tables and chairs
  • 90 persons for an event using only chairs (meeting style)

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

If you are planning to serve alcohol at your event, you must obtain a permit and insurance as follows and provide them to the rental agent at least 1 week prior to your event:

  • A copy of your special occasion permit from The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). You can obtain a permit at agco.ca.
  • A certificate of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 with the Glen Williams Town Hall named as “additional party insured”. This insurance is available at palcanada.com

We recommend you budget an additional $200 for a liquor permit and insurance.

Rental Rate: $35 per hour, minimum 3 hours

Damage deposit: $125

Instructions on the use of the hall and event cleanup are included in the rental agreement. To protect your deposit, study and follow these instructions carefully. Please note deposits will not be returned until we have inspected the hall after your event and you have returned the key.
Important! Failure to take your waste (including recyclables) with you after your event will automatically result in the loss of your damage deposit.

Cancellation Fee: $60

Please note that a cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund if you cancel with less than 1 week’s notice in writing.

IMPORTANT: Your reservation is not secure until we receive payment of the rental fee and security deposit and, if alcohol is to be served, receipt of the special permit and insurance certificate. We reserve the right to decline or to cancel bookings at our sole discretion.
